Finding Strength

Habakkuk 3:19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.

Thoughts on today's verse "The Lord is my strength!" Wow, what power we have in his abiding and empowering presence in the Holy Spirit.

Prayer: Sovereign God and Almighty Father, be not only my strength, but the strength of those battling depression, grief and despair. I ask your blessings especially and specifically for my fellow Ex members (or) insert your own request at this time of difficulty and struggle. Through Jesus I ask this. Amen.

You are very welcome. Sometimes I honestly think that the only way things are going to change in this world is if Christians unite. Keeping our faith a secret - or keeping quiet about it - will never help to solve the world's problems. We have to take a stand. I'm not a Bible thumper, but I am not afraid to share something that speaks to my heart in the hopes that it will touch someone else too. May God Bless you all............

Thanks Doreen, I have been a saying a prayer everyday and going to church on sunday, both my children and their spouses started going to church last year and said they have been praying for me to quit smoking so I will be around for them and my grandchildren to come, so I gave a shot, None of us are Bible thumpers but let me tell you with all going on in the world and this country, all we can do is pray, and of course we all pray that I will always be an X. 16 days today and I feel great. My best to all of you.
