Hi Roxanne, I am new to the chat board and I wanted to let you know you need to drink all the water you can for the next three days and by day 8 you will have the nic of your system. It also helps with the cravings. I learned that from a stop smoking class I took at work several years ago and it worked. I stopped for two years until the suicide of my mother. I plan on quitting by the first part of next week, I am on a slowdown right now, but I found I just can't afford it anymore.

Go get'um girl!!! From a fellow Irishman.

Hello Roxanne! I would like to extend a warm welcome to you. This is a great way to start out 2009! I'm 53 and I started smoking when I was 15. I quit on July 17, 2004. I was so scared when I quit, but it was the best thing I ever did for myself. There's lots of great people to help you on this site.
