THE FACT IS THAT I HAVE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR MY LIFE AND REALIZE MINE IS THE ONLY LIFE I CAN CONTROL!!!!!!

Hi, I want to QUIT smoking! I started smoking at 15 in 1970, I smoked at least a pack a day. I quit in 1982, started again 84 smoked less than 1/2 pack a day til 87, Quit in 87 when I became pregnant. Started sneaking socially 13yrs later when I went back to college full-time. Found places where I could hide & no one would catch me! I confessed my smoking to my husband & we agreed it would be less stressful if I told the kids that I smoked. So, I was smoking in the back yard & my 6 or so a day went close to a pack a day. Within the next year (2005) we lost Mom, my youngest step-son (27 new Dad 6wk old baby girl) and my Dad all within 3 mos...I have no idea how much I smoked during that time frame!
I smoke just a bit less than a pack a day, now. Yes...My worst habit is "Closet Smoking"...I am also sooooooo tired of hiding!!!! I finally decided that's enough, time to STOP!!! I tried quitting a few times in the last year...notice tried...NOW I am here to QUIT for GOOD!!!
I believe having others to talk to will be a Blessing! I can't go to anyone except my husband and children for support as no one else even knows I smoke (I Hope)...UGH!!! Hoping to find friends, encouragement, support & the occasional kick in the butt when needed...Looking forward to being Fit & Whole: Physically, Spiritually & Emotionally!! I CAN DO THIS!!!!
