My name is Najma Roberts, I am the Communications Manager for the American Legacy Foundation—the non-profit best known for the edgy truth® commercials- the teen smoking prevention campaign we are also the foundation behind the EX program. I have a unique opportunity with a national media outlet via the morning show in NYC. They are looking for smokers who are parents (children can be of any age) who are struggling with the difficult process of quitting. The smokers/quitters would have to be willing to discuss their quit attempts and their smoking history on live national television. This 3 part series will begin January 30 and it will follow the success/challenges of the smokers/quitters. Please let me know if you know of anyone who may be interested in this exciting opportunity. It would be extremely helpful if the person(s) lived in the NYC tri-state area or even in surrounding cities i.e., Boston, Philidelphia or New Jersey.
My contact information is below and I look forward to speaking with you soon. (To learn more about the American Legacy Foundation please visit www.americanlegacy.org )
Thanks in advance,
