nicotine spoke to you, and you listened. You did not allow all the cigarettes to burn, so there would be one to smoke. It is okay. You may not have been totally ready to quit. Break all the associations with smoking, or most of them. Smoke as much as you want until you decide that you are ready to quit. If stress is an issue, meditate, relax, think of the best place you have ever been. If your throat is dry, suck on some candy or a cinnamon stick.
It has taken me much practice - I am now a non smoker, since 12/30 @10pm.
You are such a pretty woman - as you get older the cigarettes could give you wrinkles, bladder cancer, and bad breathe. I know - don't lecture.
Did you plan for your quite date? Get up and move - change your routine for a few days. Drink lots of juice to address the dizziness and lightheadedness. It helps adjust your blood sugar. Do you have a new 'habit' to take the place of the old? Playing games on the computer? Knitting? Playing cards?
This is so hard - don't beat yourself up - just try try again, and eventually you will succeed. Each time you learn something new about yourself, and the evil nicotine. Visit the website whyquit.com for additional information and motivations.
Good luck to you! Never stop trying to become healthy - you deserve it. Don't let nicotine win the war, even if they won this particular battle.
