500 Days!!! I have been quit for well over a year!!!

About Me:
I quit 2/25/2008 using the patch. I am entirely smokefree nic free and want to offer advice to others.

I have quit many times but this one stuck. .I am happy I quit. Life is so much better without cigarettes....how cool is that! We don't need them and anyone that thinks they enjoy them will realize what a lie of addiction that was, How can we enjoy poisoning ourselves? How can we enjoy smelling horrible?. How can we enjoy being shunned by a majority of society? How can we enjoy killing ourselves? I am past the honeymoon stage of my quit and am looking at the reality of my 31 year addiction. I pray that I quit in time. I pray you do too.

Susan, thanks for the info. I am going to incorporate the patch with the Wellbutrin starting on the 18th. I do realize that this is an adiction and a very strong one.I will have to re-learn how to do daily things without a cigarette.

14 months is very very good, and I plan to be able to say that soon myself.

Spring is here, and I am very busy, and don't get on as much.
