I almost smoked

It has been 23 days since I smoked last. First, I had to be around my mom all weekend. She was lighting up right in my face. I told her that it had been 21 days since I quit and she still said oh sorry and did anyway. I popped in a piece of nicotine gum and luckily got passed it. Now, the weekend has been crazy, we had some really bad wind storms. My power and cable have been out since yesterday. I couldn't have my coffee. I had to drive to my office to get some coffee. This weekend was the hardest ever! I would usually sneak out and smoke if I was stressed. I was so tempted! I even went to the liquor store and looked at cigars. After all, that is not a cigarette. I picked some up and smelled them. Could you imagine driving down the road with a cigar hanging out the window, I would probably light my car of fire. Instead, I went to the library, to Target, anything to keep my mind off of smoking. I considered going to my office to do some work, but than work stress would make me light up. I even watched the 90210 marathon on soapnet. Thank god the weekend is over! Next weekend will be full of football game fun.
