Tomorrow is my birthday i will be 37 years old. This year the gift i have given myself tops anything else. I have been free from cigarettes for 22 days now. I feel like this time is really it not one more ever! I'm getting to old to just keep going around in circles. I won't do it anymore. My life and my family are to precious to me. Did you ever notice that when your a smoker no one else seems to do it and you feel like a pariah. Then you quit smoking and it seems like everyone everywhere is smoking. When i was smoking i often felt alone(except at work) and now that i have quit i sometimes feel alone. That's when i know i need to get my butt on here where i am most certainly not alone in this battle. Thanks to everyone here who has helped me so far. Almost 20 days! NOME! KEEP THE QUIT!!!

I started a new group I hope people will join and add discussions. It's called NOT ONE MORE EVER. It's for anyone trying to figure out how to never have even one cigarette again ever. If we have one we'll smoke again. I learned that the hard way i had quit for six years then started again after one night out and one bummed cig. I attended my nieces b-day party today with my kids and partner. I realized how much I could actually enjoy spending time with my extended family now that I am not thinking about cigarettes the whole time. I never smoked in front of any of them and would like to think they didn't know that I had started again 3 years ago. Before at anything like that I was always thinking when and how can I smoke.
