37 yrs old. Smoked for 20 years...I took Chantix to help me quit. The last day I smoked was May 31.

What we do in the winter when we get bored: Make giant fake cats to go behind our snowmobiles.

Its been...10 months. Still not smoking. Yay me.

Almost 2 months

In two days it will be two months since I quit smoking. Wow!! I still need Tootsie Pops for stressful moments, but there are days I have no candy at all. Other people smoking does not really bother me. What is interesting is when I am with someone who does smoke and how many times they stop to smoke. I had no idea how much time it took to smoke. Anyway, so far so good. (To all my EX friends, Hello! I will be around again soon.)

stupid cigarettes

I REALLY REALLY wanted a smoke yesterday.. (I didn't smoke). I went grocery shopping and it was crowded. There were screaming kids. I did fine for most of the shopping, but when I got to the parking lot, I wanted nothing but a cigarette. Then I thought about being out of breath all the time. I don't have to hate it to let it go. What I mean is that I do not look upon smokers as anything but human beings that smoke. Its bad for you. We all know that. We are human. We do not always do what is good for us. I have loved ones that still smoke. I love them if they smoke or not. I do not harass them to quit because they already know they should. It's always good to hear from you. I don't know what to do about the cravings. I have a gig this weekend and I'm trying not to get anxious about it. It's the first as an EX. What projects are you working on? Work any better. I think someone said something to my nasty co-worker or he's on some new meds. :) Take Care.
