Mother of son with autism, husband smokes outside and will not quit. I quit for 6 years to have my son and when he was four started smoking again for additional two years and decided to quit again.

I'm hanging in there, only time will tell if I am strong...taking one day at a time. You are right, we do have more reasons to quit now, it's not about us it's about our kids. Great point, thanks!

I think you are a very strong woman. I'm not sure I would be doing as well as you if my spouse smoked. I tried to quit once way back in my twenties. At the time I had a roommate who smoked. I didn't make it very long then. I do have more reasons to quit now. In your twenties you are still invincible. I didn't really believe then that smoking could hurt me. Now I have much more to lose.Sorry just rattling on here. My whole point was that I'm proud of you for sticking with it in a tough situation. YOU ARE STRONG! KEEP THE QUIT!!!
