About Me:
I'm 24 and have been smoking for seven years. I started because I thought it would show people I wasn't this little goodie two shoes people assumed I was. Lame, huh? I have all the reasons in the world to quit, but I'm surrounded by smokers. Here's to staying strong!

Hi Jenn, my name is Yvette and my quit date is Sept.13. In the meantime, I'm working on 'seperating' from the cigs. I like your idea on driving...I'll do that. There's this saying I read once and I've been sharing with everyone:
If I will die for my kids...then I will live for them.

I love that! Have you set a date yet? It would be great to keep in touch...we all need encouragement and this site has been great. By the way, of course he's precious...he's so cute!

HOUR BY HOUR. Until you don't need them anymore. Even though you don't want them - you may still want them. But you won't NEED tham.

Ya- im definitely an addict. And so are all my friends. I already told them I have to go into "detox" for a week at least after my quit date. (Which is June 2nd) I just cant deal with anyone when I am trying to quit. I havent even really prepped myself yet to quit, even though I know I need too. Plus in the State of NY the price of cigarettes go up $1.50 a pack. That will make it a lot easier to not go buy another pack... Which is what I usually do. Have you quit yet? If yes- any helpful hints.

You're baby is very cute! I just found out im having a boy yesterday. Im 19 weeks pregnant And yes Im still smoking. I swear, I say im going to quit every day- I just CANT DO IT!! You smoked when you were pregnant?
