Best of luck to you, Donna. It is not an easy thing to do, but it definitely CAN be done! With your faith in God and determination, you can beat this nicodemon. My prayers are with you. Remember it takes about 72 hours to get all the toxins out of your system, so drink lots of water. Orange Juice is a good way to replace the vitamin C lost by smoking as well as helping with the craves. Cut straws, gum, hard candy and lollipops are all good choices to help with the craves also. Hang in there and holler if you need me :)

Thank you very much for your support and I wish your daughter the best of luck in her recovery! Did you set your quit date and when was it? I have not done so yet seeing as we have a very stressful vacation coming up in two weeks and I know I am going to be smoking while there =( I am going to set my quit date after the 22nd of June sometime, but I am determined that if I can stay off the alcohol for 9 months, I have a strength in me that will carry me through anything I aspire to do! I will keep in touch and let you know what day I decide, have a great week and I will talk to you soon! We have a lot in common =)
