An EX. I just quit November 28th of 2006. It was the first time I tried. I have been smoking close to 20 years. Today I am a very happy non smoker (bit on the heavy side now) and very proud to be so. I have even reached the level of being able to be standing next to smokers. I am here to help anyone any which way I can because, It is really great to be an EX

Greetings friend. I'm doing some house cleaning here and am deleting those who seem to have disappeared. If I don't get a response back from you within a couple of days I will assume you are gone and will delete you from my friend list. Don't mean nothin' personal by it. I'm just trying to be more attentive to those who ARE still around. I hope wherever you are that you are well and smoke free.

Dear Friends,
I will just give you some very simple benefits of not smoking. You taste food better (and you end up eating a bit more too), You smell much better and you can smell other things like bar-b-ques, flowers, babies and also bad breaths of other smokers! You will ask your self "did I smell like that?"
Thank you for the support. It hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be so far. But I also have been gone from my home since my quit day. Now I back with a smoker! It's a little harder now. But I'm gonna make it! I really don't want to smoke.
you are very right about the hate turning to pity, b/c it is already starting. it's not all the time yet, but it's getting there. sry saps don't realize how good it can feel to breathe freely. haha.

Hi there!! Thanks so much for your support.
I'm looking forward to May 2nd, and every cigarette that I smoke now, I'm beginning to dislike more and more.
Thanks again!! Don't be a stranger!
I will definitely let my dr. know about the depression that sometimes hits when I go back in two wks. I'm just having a hard time breaking these bad habits!!!
