About Me:
Hi, My name is Dawn. I am a CA. woman who has transplanted to the south (by choice), I am not married (not that I havent been),I am a mom of 2 teenage boys, I am relatively new to the area, and I am a Deputy for the local Sheriffs Department.

My goal is to be a life long "ex smoker". I have quit in the past, only to go back 6 months later... That sucks. I am determined for so many reasons. I need to make it to the year mark, and I would trust myself more. I HATE CIGARETTES.

I would like to find a local support group of ex smokers, so that I can quit successfully... This is very important to myself and my kids...

Hello Dawn! Welcome to this site. We know what you're going through because we've been there or are going through it now. You don't have to go through this alone. Get involved in the discussions and groups and you'll get lots of support and encouragement. Check out the group "Yes You Can." You'll not only get alot of help here, you'll be helping others because there is alot of power in numbers. Being scared is totally normal and we've all been there. But working your way through the thorns to get to the roses is so worth it and you can do it.
