Seperating from the smoking room

Hi everyone, I am finding that the hardest part of seperating from my smoking addiction is seperating myself from the place that I did almost all of my smoking in. Since it happens to be where I live makes it more difficult. I figure that once the air clears and I can begin to remove or clean the room out I will look at my smoking room as the place that it was intended to be. Anyone else in the same situation?

Hi Angel, I read your discussion in "Quit Buddies" I read your Blog above also, in reference to your blog most of my smoking was in the back yard hiding from the world (I was a closet smoker). Now I don't go in the back yard at all...I understand your situation!!! How is everything else going? I wish you much strength!!

I really appreciate you! - My helps have been to SUPER prepare (because my brain tends to shut down during a quit) with snacks, lists of things to do, lists of encouragements, coming here, going to whyquit.com, and staying very very focused - when I need to I take a really deep breath ... hold it ... let it out ... then relax and trust the process. Hello Angel and welcome to BecomeanEx.org! This is the BEST stop-smoking website! I'm 54 and this is my 4th attempt at quitting smoking, and I haven't found it necessary to smoke since July 17, 2004. Quitting is scary, but it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's a lifestyle change, and also a newfound freedom and feeling of contentment I could never imagine before. You may hate the beginning of your quit, but deal with it the best you can. You won't have to go through it alone because you have us now.
