On February 24th of this year I smoked my last cigarette. I had 3 days of lozenges, didn't like them, and decided to go cold turkey. six months to the day after the last nicotine trickled out of my system, I finished my first half-marathon. 13.1 miles in 1 hour 51 minutes. 14 minutes away from NY qualification. I made it. 90 days ago 90 days seemed like an eternity, now it seems like 90 days ago was yesterday.
