I am a singer who started smoking at the age of 31 after years of thinking it was the yuckiest thing ever.

Had 40 days quit, and then started grad school in early September~ fell off the horse and freaked out for 6 weeks.

Now I am back again, humbled and hopeful.

I am making the change and grateful to have the opportunity to do so.

That's awesome Aly! You jut keep on keepin' on! Some of us have to learn the hard way. Yet, I think it gives us an even stronger base to work with!! Yeah, the cyber hug with my Mom was so awesome!! If you really focus on it, it almost feels real!! Way to go on 8 days kiddo!! Bad things sometimes do happen before change comes and yes, we all can afford to change -- heck, that's what we're here for!! Take care and keep in touch!! Big hugs to you!!

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy 7 days to you ALY! Thanks for the sweet compliment! What I wanted to tell you was that when I talked to my Ma the other night, I had us do a cyber hug on the phone. I told her to close her eyes, imagine my arms around her and our faces pressed together, just like we do in the flesh! It was awesome -- we both were a tad teary eyed! I thought it might be something you could do with your Mom too! Now, back to your 7 days!!

WAHOOOOO 6 days for you kiddo!! Way to go!! I'll be writing you a pm soon -- have to tell ya about my cyber hug with my Ma -- have a very busy day, but wanted to drop by and let ya know that I am thinking about YOU!

This morning as I stared into the stars and prayed, I found myself thinking about many things, especially light in darkness. The end result was this...xoxoxoxo!!

Dan Fogelburg will always live in my heart, as he was an instrumental (pun intended) influence to me in the early 80's! I saw him in concert at least 2-3 times, if not more. Everytime, I walked away in awe. Sadly, he died of cancer, not too long ago. My brother and I both cried and sent videos back and forth. Dan was beautiful, both inside and out -- something we all should strive for!! So, this message is to wish you a day full of light, love and happiness, with Dan as a heavenly messenger to do just that!! Keep on keepin' on!!!
