I have tried to quit in the past and failed.... Over and over again. I just need to know that there are real people out there who have ACTUALLY QUIT. If your that person and have any suggestions, PLEASE Share them. Thanks.

Hello yes i am one who as tried several times and failed time over time,so this time i said if i make it fine if i dont thats ok too,i took it one day at a time,when i found that being a challenge,I took it one sec at atime ,it has been since april 24th 2009,,,so far so good,i use to do drugs,i have been clean since march 20,2001,,,,the cigs was lot harder,i was a full blown addict ,so there u go,cigs to me is a drug,if i can give it up and do it the sec at a time thing,Honey u can too,I wish u all the best,give ur self a break, and try thats all we can do,huggs to u

aloha, yes real people can and do quit. it is hard but with education and a few tricks of the trade you can do it too. I have now been quit for ten years I used patches, well burtin, had a pack of nic gum in case of an emergency. I smoked straws cut in half for months and ate cinnamon candy like crazy. it worked. stay positive, be strong and look forward. figure out a quit plan that will work for you and try, try, try till you get it done.
