Hang in there, I have. Day TEN now, and starting to get compliments on my skin tone and youthful appearance. Bought myself a tooth whitening kit yesterday as a reward, and today I've chosen to lay off the beer and start running. I feel like I've been released from some kind of captivity.

I slipped and had to start over. I got super sick and just didn't have the mental strength to push myself through the cravings. Haven't smoked since yesterday afternoon, and had a wonderful Day One, feeling very beautiful indeed with my awesome boyfriend in the sunshine on my day off. It rocked.

Isn't it funny that a lot of us started smoking in our teens to look older, and now it's actually working? I'm on Day Five! Not looking so good though because I'm sick, but looking forward to a smoke free summer of soft skin and pretty smells.

Hey! I'm new to the site and have just started joining groups on here and meeting people. :) I have set a quit date for July 1st. There are many reasons that I want to quit smoking, and I have to admit, vanity is one of them, but in this case, vanity is a good thing! haha I'm 25 and get told all the time that I look like I'm 18, as most of the women in my family have always looked younger than they are. I'd like to stay that way, and I know that smoking isn't going to make me look 35 when I'm 40!

Hi everybody! Joined this awesome site a few days ago. Just finished my 7th day. The first 5 days I went cold turkey. I was having pretty bad withdrawal symptoms (headaches, crying jags, no energy, feeling of loss, etc). Got some patches on day 6 & it has helped, but here I am at 1:15 a.m. on the computer instead of in bed asleep! Thanks for all of the wonderful, great, awesome support! Goodnight fellow non-smokers!

Hello am new to this site, It is day 5 for me and it couldn't be going better. Have been heavy smoker for 22yrs and this is 1st time to quit. Skin is looking much better already and I feel great! Only real drawback is the lack of sleep, but I am giving up all the weeds at the same time!

I am getting up there - 42 - but I`m told I`m still hot, BUT - when I quit smoking I notice that I look YOUNGER, my skin is more dewey, I like to whiten my teeth, and I LOSE weight, if you can believe it! I like to work out, wear sexy clothes and primp, but I`m not conceited, I just enjoy that nice, clean feeling of being smoke free! Congratulations Dawn! This is Day One for me, and I`m so excited!
