I started taking Chantix a little over a month and a half ago. What I would like to know is how soon can you quit taking the Chantix? I have been smoke free for a little over a month and I quit taking the pills completely. I'm not having any cravings for cigarettes. Am I in the clear now?

Thanks Leslie for sharing your experience. It is fantastic that you are not given in to the Nicodeamons and are continuing your efforts to be a quitter. I'm a 40+ year quitter (quit date 12/30/07) and Chantix helped me a lot. I still contend that the will to quit is 95% of the ingredient to being a quitter. I was able to stop Chantix after 30 days but Nicotine has a different effect on everyone. I say do whatever it takes to beat the Nicodeamons! Good luck
